Join us on one of our Race and Stay exclusive trips this year arriving on Monday 27th April staying at the excellent 4* Barberstown Castle Hotel in Straffan and enjoy the exciting experience of all five days racing at the Punchestown Festival .
You'll be treated to our exclusive Punchestown Preview show on Monday evening with welcome nibbles and drinks reception before our Punchestown Racing Tour gets going in ernest on Tuesday morning with our special visit to the racing stables of leading trainer Gavin Cromwell . We will return to the Hotel for a very short break before we depart to Punchestown and the day 1 feature, the Champion Chase. On Wednesday morning we enjoy a special visit to the Irish National Stud before departing to Punchestown for the highlight of the week, the Punchestown Gold Cup. after racing we return to the Hotel to enjoy the Gold Cup Hooley and BBQ where you'll be entertained into the night. Thursday, at Punchestown features the excellent Stayers Hurdle a very popular betting day. On Friday we depart to the Waterford stable of Henry de Bromhead before returning to our Hotel to get ready for the late afternoon racing for day 5 of the Punchestown Festival, featuring the Champion Hurdle. On Saturday we have an easy morning before departing to Punchestown for the final day of the festival. A fabulous tour with everything you need included with our expert staff looking after you from the moment you arrive.
BARBERSTOWN CASTLE HOTEL

Food is a major factor at Barberstown with many casual and fine dining experiences to enjoy. Afternoon Tea in the Garden Bar is a lovely treat. Naas Town is the social hub of the festival where all the lively Apres Racing action is, with many great local bars and restaurants, all within a short taxi ride from the Hotel.

Day 1
Monday 27th April
Arrivals Day- Our driver will collect you from Dublin Airport (if required) and take you to your Hotel to check in. Tonight we host the Punchestown Preview Show, featuring top jocks and trainers, all hosted by the Racing Post's Dave Jennings. A fun and informative way to run through the races and a great way to get settled into your tour.
Day 2
Tuesday 28th April
After breakfast we will depart to leading trainer Gavin Cromwell's County Meath stables for a tour, after the tour concludes we will return you back to the Hotel for a quick break before we depart to Punchestown to enjoy the first day of the festival which includes the Champion Chase as its feature.
Day 3
Wednesday 29th April
After breakfast we we enjoy a special visit to the Irish National Stud. After the tour concludes we will return you back to the Hotel for a quick break before we depart to Punchestown Races for the Gold Cup and several other top class contests. After racing we will return you to the hotel to get ready for our famous Gold Cup Hooley and BBQ where our musicians and dancers will entertain you into the night.
Day 4
Thursday 30th April
After breakfast your morning is free before we transport you to Punchestown for an exciting day 3 of the festival week. Today is Stayers Hurdle day and with 6 other high class races to enjoy you can look forward to a fabulous day at the races. After racing concludes we will return you to the Hotel for a final evening of drinks and socialising.
Day 5
Friday 1st May
After breakfast we will depart to leading trainer Henry de Bromhead's County Waterford stables for a tour, after the tour concludes we will return you back to the Hotel for a quick break before we depart to Punchestown to enjoy day 4 of the festival which includes the Champion Hurdle as its feature.
Day 6
Saturday 2nd May
After breakfast your morning is free before we depart to Punchestown to enjoy day the final day of the festival which includes more top class races to enjoy before the curtain comes down on another Irish jumps season..
Day 7
Sunday 3rd May
After breakfast we will transport you back to Dublin Airport for your return flight home.
